1. Rating Reform in Northern Ireland
1.1 The Committee welcomed Brian McClure of the Northern Ireland Office. Mr McClure gave a presentation on recent developments on rating reform in Northern Ireland. The presentation was followed by questions and an informal discussion on the experience of Local Government Finance reform in Northern Ireland.

2. Minutes of Meeting on 3 February 2006
2.1 Minutes of last meeting approved.
2.2 The Committee agreed that minutes after this meeting will not be published as the Committee will in future meet principally to consider the content of its report.

3. Forward Agenda
3.1 The Committee considered a Draft Critical Path outlining key remaining activities and stages covering the period to publication of the Committee’s final report later in the year.

4. Oral Evidence
4.1 The Committee noted for the record that its programme of formal Oral Evidence was now complete

• Secretariat to update draft critical path covering the period to publication of the final report.
• Secretariat to update website indicating that minutes of future minutes will not be published and that the Committee is meeting principally to consider the content of its report.
